![]() Apparently this is a Pop Hots Monthly thing again. Other lables that are multiplex work fine, but PHM removes background vocals and all. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Multi-plex function removes background Too!
I may be wrong, but doesnt the PHM have one version with vocals and one without? If that is the case they are not multiplex. they put the vocals on both tracks or either run mono

Re: Multi-plex function removes background Too!
you are right, they do, however a guy brought one to a show tht he had recorded with the w/ vocal version. he asked me to remove the vocals which I did, only to remove background vocals too. He ran off pissed, and I was embarassed. I'm just glad it's not on all multiplex recordings.

Quote:
FYI: all players including the disc players wouldn't remove the vocals. Hoster plays the multiplex tracks the exact same way the players do. It shifts the right or left track to combination mono rather than stereo out. That was how a multiplex was meant to be. Pop hits monthly are not multiplex, and cant have the vocals removed. |
