Question Hoster Registration and PC Questions

Hoster Software Questions
We plan to use a laptop (that we do not yet have) to run Hoster at our shows. Meanwhile, we would like to begin the process of transferring our CD+Gs to an external hard drive using our home PC. If we purchase Hoster now and register it on our home computer, can we later transfer the primary registration to the laptop? We are a couple with different last names - will it make a difference if the laptop is purchased in his name while the home PC is in mine (is that one of the factors you use to verify product registration)?

Hoster PC Questions
If we were to purchase a Hoster Laptop or PC rather than the laptop we are leaning toward, would that change things regarding Hoster software registration since it comes pre-installed? Also, we already have an external Plextor CD+G compatible CD+RW and an external DVD recorder that reads and writes a number of formats. Is it possible to order the Hoster PC or portable computer without the external CD/DVD recorder that appears to be bundled with your computers? If so, how much will it cost?

Thank you!

Bill,

Thank you for asking. As for installing Hoster on a Laptop purchased later on...yes, as long as you do not use your 2 computer installs before then. If you do, then installing Hoster could run us into a problem.

As for buying a complete portable or laptop system from MTU, Hoster does come preinstalled, so no problem there. As for the burner, we can deduct the cost (respectively) from each system if you wish to supply your own. I can offer a more detailed quote via phone or if you wish to email me at sales at MTU.com.

If I can answer any further questions for you please contact me.

Sincerely,

Doug Cox
