Re: Hoster will not load last track
You may have run into a Multisession cdg (a 16th track that isn't listed on the label). Microstudio will help you create a new cdg disc that Hoster will read. The technique for doing this is detailed in this forum. Do a search for "Multisession".

Re: Hoster will not load last track
Just load your new cdg into hoster. Go to the import tab and select the Multisession cdg you previously loaded. It will show that 14 tracks have been entered. Just select the 15th track on the new cdg and import., whala.

![]() Gary , I understand what you are telling me, do not think I stated what I wanted to know right. I imported the 14 tracks that I need to the hoster, I wanted to import the 15th track that I copy to a CD into the Hoster with the same bookID, because I all ready have 20 sond books made with the 15 Track with that BookID. Like I have all 15 track in the book under 129-1 to 15 with the song names.. I was wnat to get out of making 20 more books ,, just spend $102 on making them

Re: Hoster will not load last track
If you have a copy of the original cdg, made by Microstudio with all 15 tracks, then you should be able to import the 15th track from the new copy. Since Hoster could not read in the 15th track from the original cdg the display in the import list should show track 15 as not loaded. Load your new cdg into your cd reader with Hoster up and running, and 14 tracks will show imported. The 15th track will indicate that the track has not been read in. Just check (click) track 15 and click on "Import Selected Tracks". Track 15 will read into hoster with the same ID number as the other 14 tracks.
Am I making any sence ![]() ![]() Gary |

Re: Hoster will not load last track
Isn't there a way to do this without putting all 15 tracks on a new CD (using Microstudio) when only the 15th track is really needed?? I thought you could do a CD that was full of 15th tracks needed from several CDs, then load them into Hoster. Now in reading the posts below I assume that will give me problems trying to get them each on the correct book ID. CDs with that track 15 problem are certainly annoying. Any more advice?

Re: Hoster will not load last track
The CD full of 15th track method will work, however, you'll just have to lable it, give it it's own ID number, then import into Hoster. It is a lot less work than the other method of recovering the track, and then making a compilation of all tracks in Microstudio then import.

Re: Hoster will not load last track
you can do it the way parks said but why would you
do it the way gary said you should have a back up anyway and it does not take long at all to do it garys way once you do a few this way you have a clean copy of all your disc and if you have to reimport for some reason you have the clean copy to use |

![]() i think in the next version of hoster you will be able to import from your harddrive so that way you can import from microstudio then import to hoster without having to burn disk. i think that is the way it is going to work.

Re: Hoster will not load last track
There's a couple of other avenues you can go for the time being.
1 you can keep a disk full of #15 handy and and use it when a song slip comes up, either in your player or temp import into the computer. 2 Import using a # you'll never use (at least in the near future) and then change the book ID's in Access although I think you have to change them again if you rebuild the database. This doesn't change your KMA's, only the database. 3 Again import the disk full of 15's under it's own # and when the songslip comes up search by title or artist for it. I've got a couple of disks that got their #s screwed in the songbook-this is the method I use for those Just a few suggestions to help you get by untill they can be imported from the HD Sam |

![]() This Multisession problem is a real drag. ![]() The producers think they are doing something smart, when they only have cut off YOUR nose to spite THEIR pocket books.... bad decision on their part. We are considering several ways around this, but it probably won't be this year (not much left of it anyway. ![]() |
