Re: Link on the product page to the microstudio manual problem
I went to http://www.mtu.com/basics/karaoke.htm and downloaded from the Microstudio manual link.
It installed at C:\Program Files\MTU\Manuals\Microstudio Manual without my doing anything different, which did not touch the Hoster folder. It contained the mstudioman.htm file that is the manual page, along with all its images and other inclusive files. I opened this in Internet Explorer and it is the final Microstudio 2.609 manual. ![]() Please post the exact URL that you clicked on our site to download what you indicate above so I can duplicate the problem. |

![]() I followed the ADMIN's instructions just now and had no problems finding the manual either.
I do have a couple of suggestions for those of you who want to print the manual: -Be sure the Text Size is set on Smaller by selecting View, Text Size, Smaller. -Be sure the Left and Right Margins are set as small as possible by selecting File, Page Setup and changing the Left and Right Margins listed there. The smallest I could indicate was .25". -Print 1-2 pages before printing the entire manual to be sure nothing is being cut off on the right side of the page. If you do the above steps, the manual will print nicely without cutting off any of the wording. ![]() Thanks for your time. Nitecat Karaoke |

Re: Link on the product page to the microstudio manual problem
sevekj, the only thing I can think of is you may have .htm files hidden in your Internet Browser.
The full link to the Microstudio page is http://www.mtu.com/basics/karaoke.htm and the URL of the manual is http://www.mtu.com/support/manuals/m...udiomanual.exe. With 3 of us able to download the same manual file and finding the mstudioman.htm file in the installed folder (which you gave correctly), there is no question that the manual htm page is in that directory for everyone else. Try this: 1. Close all copies of Internet Explorer you have open (for this test, don't use AOL, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera or any other Browser program) 2. Run Internet Explorer 3. Do NOT use any search engine, but click the links below 4. Click this link http://www.mtu.com/basics/karaoke.htm. 5. Click your REFRESH button, as you may somehow have an old page cached 6. Click the Manual http://www.mtu.com/support/manuals/m...udiomanual.exe on the page (or just click this link). 7. After saving the microstudiomanual.exe file to your hard drive, either click the Open button in the download dialog and install it, or locate the downloaded file and double click it to install it. 8. Go to the C:\Program Files\MTU\Manuals\Microstudio Manual folder and locate the mstudioman.htm page and double click it. If this htm page is not present, you have some unexplanable problem with your computer. ![]() Hope this works. If not, would you like me to email you the installation program for the manual? |

I tried the directions above with the same results, I also called a friend up and had him do the same, with same results. Perhaps you already have microstudio manual installed. Also I forgot to mention that when the exe is opened it recognizes that the hoster manual is already installed and asks to replace, selected yes and no and still only get the pics for the manual. This is the sentence that I needed: 8. Go to the C:\Program Files\MTU\Manuals\Microstudio Manual folder and locate the mstudioman.htm page and double click it.
