Re: bring back edit ability to singer in play list

Hi,

It would be awesome if you could do a search within Hoster to seek out only duets.

Also, was just thinking about this, it would be a neat feature to have a command button option to randomly select a song from your library. Would be a great feature for karaoke singing contests.

Admin, did you get a chance to compare the sweeping of lyrics between version 2.213 #3 and version 2.215? Some songs (in particular Eagles Heartache Tonight was one I noticed) seem to sweep about a 10th of a second slower in 2.215 than it did in 2.213 #3. Just an observation.

Thanks,
T

Re: Search on Duets

I split this to a separate thread as it deserves its own life.

We are just now finishing all the STUFF behind updating the KMA Parameters, and preparing new Songbook methods. One of the options we expect will be in 2.216 is to print Songbooks sheets with just Duet songs. That will be a good start for your request.

We have been considering adding check boxes in the Search dialog box to allow you to use the new parameters to find songs. You requested for "Duets". But what about Language, or Genre, or Multiplexed? Others will want that, especially our Hosts who have Spanish lyrics for their South American customers.

Re: Search on Duets

What I do to work around this, is when I import, I insert the name "Duet" before the title, this places them all together alphabetically in my book, an now that we have search capability in Hoster, it makes them a breaze to locate. Example: Duet, Somewhere Out There. I hope this helps.
