felling stupid

I imported 98 cd's went to the play list clicked new and clicked add HD trk and nothing shows that I put in what am I doing wrong? Also when you import what ratio are you suppose to use? I used 192K is that my problem?

Your problem may be that the location where Hoster thinks your songs are and where you put them are two different locations. Go to the Hoster manual and click the following three links:

Importing Song Tracks
Import Standard Discs
Save To Folder

This may be the solution to your problem.

As for ratio, that's up to you and your ears and song storage space available.
Here is what I use. A typical compression ratio is 128k. Under the Change Settings button I use (I think these are default, not sure):
Threshold = 42
Ratio = 4:1
Attack Time = Medium
Release Time = Medium
Limit = 58
