I would say there is no real way to convert these Large Laser Discs into a computer format. There are no drives for a computer that can read these discs, thus there is no way to digitally get them into the system.

what you can do is turn the laserdiscs into VCD's (i used a tarapin vcd recorder) and then if you have the space you can put them on your hard drive and open them up with the media player of your choice(the ones that do video). I did this for the songs that i could not replace on cdg.

Question Capture

How about using the capture option?
If you have a video card that has the capability you might want to capture your video & audio signal directly in your computer so you can than burn them on a DVD?

This way you would be able to keep your graphic on mpeg2 versus mpeg1 for VCD!
Keep in mind that to be able to do some capture you need a hard drive that is on NTFS because FAT32 will only allow 4 gigs which might not be enough for your project.

regards
