Unhappy microstudio problem

O.K. in khp I export my song lyrics, music, vogone completed in the file menu and click on export to file menu. I open microstudio and click on karaoke cd+g in the SELECT DISC FORMAT box. then I add my completed track or tracks from the hard drive. I click on the track or tracks I want to add to my songlist to burn. I click on open and it is added, but what happens is in the SELECT DISC FORMAT box, karaoke cd+g button becomes unlit or inoperative. I have the right drive selected to write the list of songs to a cdr. when I click on write disc a box pops up and says, "press the enter key or click the terminate button to terminate this operation.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I hope i gave you enough information. thyank you very much

Sounds to me like it is working the way it should. The reason the Karaoke CD+G button grays out (I believe) is to prevent you from putting both CDG and WAV files on a single disc. As soon as you add a file of one type (CDG or WAV) it grays out the selector buttons so you can't change it. Not really sure the reasoning behind this, but I'm sure MTU has done it this way for a good reason.

Once the 'Press ENTER or click terminate...' screen comes up, it should be writing the disc...unless of course it pops up with some sort of error message. If this is the case, let us know what message you are getting, and we can try to help further.

Flipoke is right...

When making a disc of any format, you can only write one format type file to that disc. CDG and Audio CDDA are different formats.

When the Karaoke button is selected, we "safeguard" you from writing anything but CDG files. We actually verify every file to detect if you have incorrectly titled some with a .cdg but they are really .wav files (such as Vogone writes).
