Unhappy Getting Good Burned Copy.

I NEED HELP AND CAN'T SEEM TO GET IT.

LATELY, (THE PAST WEEK) I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON SEVERAL SONGS AND I GET THEM ENTERED PROPERLY, TIMED PERFECTLY AS FAR AS THE KHPRO PAGE IS CONCERNED. THEN I SAVE THEM TO FILE. WHEN I GO TO BURN THE SONGS, THEY ALL ARE OUT-OF-TIME AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CORRECT IT. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS HAD A SIMILIAR INCIDENT???

Version #?

What version of KHPro are you running? You purchased the 4.008 upgrade in April, 2003. Please check and post back here. If you are running 4.008, I'll move this Thread to the right Forum so others with the same product can help also.

When in doubt, shut down your computer, wait 10+ seconds, restart and then try KHPro again. If it still has a problem, uninstall it and install it again, rebooting before you run it.

THANKS, FOR YOUR REPLY. I AM RUNNING THE KHPRO VERSION THAT I RECEIVED IN APRIL 03. IT HAS NOT HAD THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM BEFORE. AND I DO SHUT THE COMPUTER OFF AT LEAST ONCE A DAY AND RESTART IT. SO NOW I GUESS THAT I HAD BETTER RE-INSTALL IT. IS THAT WHAT YOU SUGGEST?

I AM GETTING NO ANSWER ON MY PROBLEM, SO I'M DIGGING AROUND TO OTHER COMPUTER NERDS.

COULD A BAD OR WEAK AND WORN VIDEO CARD CAUSE THE PROBLEM. I DID EVERYTHING THAT ADMIN TOLD ME TO DO AND ON THE THIRD ATTEMPT AT GETTING A GOOD TIMING OF THE SONG, THE TIMING WENT BONKERS AGAIN, JUST LIKE BEFORE.

SHOULD I BUY A NEW VIDEO CARD AND SEE IF THAT WILL CORRECT IT OR AM I WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY? ALSO, WHAT CARD DO YOU SUGGEST? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Try setting your color resolution to 16 bit. Other settings have been known to cause the problem you describe.

Another possible solution would be to reduce the hardware accellerators.

Hopefully one of these will get it for you.

Take care,
George
