Have you clicked on DETECT DRIVES to make certain your drives are CDG capable.
If so have you selected the proper drive(s) for read/write? If all of that's in order, then we need more info. What are you trying to do when you get the message, what are your system stats, etc. George |

RE:ERROR
George,
Thanks for answering my post. I am not good with computers to start with. I couldn't begin to find out how to check the drives. I followed the instal setup and got warnings to remove this hardware from my computer. I thought I figured that out but it still happens, I skip that warning and try to copy a karaoke cd and get the new warning message. I think the one I have is bad. I my need to just send it back for a new one. It is compatible with my computer and I have all the requirerments needed to install. Any thing you can think of to try and get this thing to work? I've been fighting with it since August to no avail.

To check the drives to see if they are CDG compatible, open Microstudio, click on the DUPLICATE DISC tab, and click on the DETECT DRIVES tab. If your drives are properly installed they will be listed in the window that pops up. If they are cdg compatible it will say yes, for the particular drive. If you get all no's, you need a new burner. MTU sells cdg certified burners. They test each one they send out. If nothing shows up, that's another issue.
If you get a yes, close that window and just to the left of the DETECT DRIVES tab there are two drop down windows. Make certain the read/write drives are designated in the correct window. If you have one cdg compatable drive to both read and write cdg, then select the same drive for both functions. A regular cdrom drive will not handle cdg, or the cdg drive is not selected, and if my hunch is correct, that's the problem. If not, move over and make room for me up in that tree with you Quote:
