2.5-2.7

I have recently needed to reinstall my 2.5 software only to find out the diskette has gotten damaged somehow, (it has been about 7 or 8 years since I've needed the disk so no surprises). It always crashes on the install in 1 of 3 places, but anymore it crashes right from the start of the install. Anyway, is there anyway I can get a 2.5 replacment disk? O download it or have the files emailed to me (it was only one 3.1/2 floppy afterall)? Or is there a way to get a copy of 2.7 or whatever the final version was for the revJ board was? I can keep it on win 95 no problems, and I'm still quite happy with my old 2.5 as old as it is

This is the hub of my studio and it is killing me not to have it anymore. I even went as far as digging out my old 5 1/4 floppies and going around town to find someone that had an old 51/4 floppy drive for sale. I figured the floppies would be damaged (which they were), but i had to try....so still now luck at all.

If there is anyone that can help me out let me know!

...found all my floppies

Well, I can't tell if anyone ever responded to you from MTU, but I just recently found all my software for Medit going all the way back to August of '94.

I have 2.5b for sure, which I think was the final, and I have it on small floppy. If MTU think it is okay, I could certainly copy it for you.....It sure seems like they ought to be able to give you a download, though.

....Anyway, I'll wait for a response from MTU and you. Everyone can e-mail me direct at mudsmith@earthlink.net

....I'm also fairly sure that I have downloaded versions of every other possible version you might want.....i.e., whatever the final one is, I'm pretty sure I've got it.

Mudsmith,
This will be fine if you email this to him. I can try to find the files, but they are somewhere in storage, and not to sure where.

Thanks for the help.

Sure, I'd love if you could email me the 2.5b! I've gotten ahold of 2.6 and 2.7 but have had headaches trying to get them to work, and would really like to rule out if it's the hardware or the software....So if I try 2.5b (which is what I previously had) and it still gives me issues, then I know to start looking at other things.

You can email me them at ext1@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for your help!

Chris
