When trying to lay my words down at the begining the words sync fine then they slowly start to fall behind and then its a speed race to catch up with the words which it does and then falls behind again. Ive turned down my LAPTOP SETTINGS IN DISPLAY TO NONE AND THERE AT 16 BIT. If anyone has any suggestions i would love to here from you. Thanks topcattroy. Im a newbe.

I've had this problem too, but not on every song. Try resampling the audio. It works best with 44.1kHz.

I believe the problem is the Player code in Karaoke Home Producer. It was basically the same code as Microstudio V2.0. We found so many problems with Microstudio that we totally rewrote the player code. As you know, that works fine now.

We have to now replace the KHProducer player code and release a new upgrade. We are on a very major upgrade to Karaoke Pro right now (those sales really pay our bills ), then we will attack the KHProducer player.

Read all the posts about your computer display settings, graphic cards, etc. I expect if your video is lagging the audio it is becase of:

1. You are doing a very fast lyric song, or
2. Your video card and direct-x driver are not updated

This is what we have typically diagnosed as the problem when we took the time to dig deep with a client.

With the new player code, I expect all problems to disappear.

I use a laptop and read a audio cd only and i still have a lag behind on the play song option. When sinckronizing the lyrics to the music my laptop works great all the way to the end. Its only when i try and play back is when it lags behind. I have burned some cdg's and it come out ok. Only because i can't see my results before i burn the cd. Any info Administrator would be great and sorry for the second tread.

My post above gives what I believe is the primary reason for the lag when playing your finished song.

On a laptop, your LCD display is slower than a CRT display. I expect the graphics display card is "minimized" for the LCD, and thus may not have the hardware acceleration that can be found on other PCI-bus plug-in graphics card. I am guessing here, based on other tradeoffs we have seen in laptops.

Once we upgrade the player code, I hope this will help you. We are nearing completion of the Microstudio 2.2 upgrade. Once this is done, we will split our player (audio and karaoke) software into a standard module we can then link into all our products. The first to get the upgrade will be KHProducer.
