Angry Microstudio does not show Plexwriter in DEVICE DRIVES

I CAN NOT find my NEW plexwriter in DEVICE DRIVES in Microstudio 2400, KPro 40, Keyrite 1302 or Vogone 2104. ALL of which were recently bought from MTU.com. I have updated my ASPI drivers to show 4.71.2, after trying 4.71.1, neither work!! The Plextor shows up on my computer; by the way I am running Windows XP. But, it will not show up on DEVICE DRIVES on any of the MTU programs. The programs will show my internal drives, but will not show the external Plextor 48/24/48 that is CORRECTLY plugged into my USB drive.

Smile FINALLY WORKING

Hey All. I finally had a Network Administrator come to my residence and figure this thing out with help from the forums. I found a forum dated July 9, 2003 from pcgumshoe that talks about downloading the ASPI drivers from ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll, and HEY, Magic!!! After two weeks of 4 hour days working on this thing, it finally works. Apparently, if you have NERO installed on your computer, it keeps you from correctly updating your drivers. So, if this helps at least one person...........I'd fell better. ANYTHING to keep from going through what I went through. My Plextor was about to become a flying saucer through my office window until........Thanks, pcgumshoe for the info.
Tim
