Sounds like Media Clog copy protected cdg's. It should say so on the cd hub.

You might find a solution that works for you in the CD REcorders and Media open forum..

KgKaraoke,

If I'm understand correctly. I kept having same problem w/SC newer discs with the media-cloq protect or similar. On the last track, #15 mostly, the progress 'thermometer' would stop at aprox 96-97%. Several times I'd wait and finally get impatient and terminate the track. I record most always using track select instead of whole disc.

Once I got p/o'd and ejected the cd without terminating the recording. Just to see what I'd gotten I played the the track on the karaoke palyer. Lo and behold there was my intire song track recorded just as I wanted it. The track won't 'end' as regular tracks do, but since it is always the last track on a disc it does not matter to me anyway. Have used this technique several times to get the last Sound Choice track recorded. Have just about quit buying S/C discs because of their no replacement warranty and backup problems.

Hope this helps. Maybe you'd already discovered this little trick as you had posted a while back.

Dave
