Running Hoster and PCDJ

I am running Hoster and PCDJ together. No problems with Hoster.
PCDJ plays my MP3 files just fine, but it will not load a song from a regular music cd.
Anyone else running these two applications together?

i'm tinkering with hoster now and i run it with BPM Studio pro and/or American Dj Pro Mix. I have no problem running them together.. It might be your pcdj program

PCDJ

I have found that if Hoster is opened and run, then open PCDJ, this is when I encounter the problem. If PCDJ is used by itself without opening Hoster first, there is no problem.

I have had no problem even while playing both applications at the same time. I can encode the cdg's with hoster and DJ at the same time with no gltches.. although my computer was built specificly to be able to do multitasking due to large amounts of Ram(1024 ddr 333 ram) and processor speed(P4 2.53 ghz)

You can never have enough ram..my advise is to max it out

Reply to Running Hoster and PCDJ

I am running both programs without any problems, but I am doing something a little different. I use MP3's exclusively for PCDJ but if someone brings a CD for me to play a track or two from I also run MusicMatch to play them. I am amazed that I don't get any Sound Card conflicts but it works fine.

PCDJ 5.3

I had to select “ASPI” as the Interface (Don’t ask why) under the “Configuration” Settings: “Software” Tab: “Ripp/Encoder” to get PCDJ to play music directly from a CD.

Hope this helps,
Norm
