Program Interrupted!!!

I have an MTU laptop with Hoster. There have been times when some utility has activated and caused Hoster to minimize or stop. I had to completely uninstall the included McAfee virus software due to this. Isn't there some way to set Hoster to have priority over all other programs or functions (Including "Windows Update"!!!) so that no other process can interfere with a show in progress???

Background utilities and programs have a mind of their own and serve specific purposes. Some of them can be turned off only to come back when you restart your computer.

Antivirus software always runs in the background, that’s the only way they can detect a potential damaging virus from attacking your computer when the infected file is opened or downloaded.

Update programs constantly monitor certain sites to tell you about new upgrades. Some other utilities activate themselves at specific times.

Computer users configure their machines differently, and as such it would be impossible to write such a utility like the one you are suggesting. Although one could be written to run on a single computer.

The only 100% sure way to prevent the problems you are having is by turning off ALL programs running in the background when using Hoster; After all, this is all you need to do a show.

When you finish your show, simply reboot, and they will all come back, including your antivirus program.
