does anyone know about copying with non-computer cd recorders (dual disc)

I need someone with any knowledge on the subject to tell me if I can copy cd+gs on a dual disc cd recorder. i would think if these machines have optical ins and outs that it should make a digital copy.

MTU offers a dedicated product for this

We offer a dual drive package for $595 in our store. You can read about it here: http://www.mtu.com/store/merchant.mv...t_Code=CDG+DUP

It only does duplication of CDG, CDROM and Audio CD discs. You can't use it for making custom assembled discs of only the songs you want to use, which our Micorstudio software and our CDG Certified CD Recorder can do in a PC computer.

It also can't be used to run our software to make your own CDG songs, change the pitch or reduce the vocals on some songs.

But, if you don't have or want to get a computer, the dedicated box is ideal for protecting your CDG Karaoke disc investment. Once a CDG disc is scratched, it is permanently damaged, often beyond usability.

I have the PHILIPS dual tray recorder and it will not copy cdg. Will read, copy, and play as a regular audio cd. No Graphics. Can't say for anything else, but haven't seen one that will.

Yes there are a number of these on the market, stand alone units, you place the CD, CD+G in the top. and a blank in the bottom. Most can't do any custom discs, but they are out there.

Use Google with search words 'CD+G COPY' and you 'll find them like the otave unit for around $400. Never used one but have seen them on the market.
