How to play videos

I have an upcoming wedding that I am dJing and hosting karaoke. Typically when hosting karaoke I play a slideshow when in between singers. I'm using virtual dj software to Dj and hoster to karaoke. Would like to stream videos when no one is singing. Not the actual videos to the audio I'm playing but either funny wedding videos or even just lighting club like affect videos. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Trelynda,
From the main page of Hoster there are 3 buttons; karaoke, audio, video. If you have your videos on the hard drive (internal or external), when you click on the video button it open windows explorer and just go to the folder where your videos are and click on the video you want (assuming you have a folder with videos). It will load the video at the bottom of you playlist and you can drag it up where you want it. Hope this helps.

Re: How to play videos

Just to add to Walts answer. You mention stream videos, You can't do that in Hoster, the files have to actually be on your hard drive.
If you want stream videos like a youtube video I would drag your browser window over to your extended and then expand it to full screen from there.

Better though to download the video first then play it as Walt described, although I don't know the legality of doing that.
