![]() I still use an older version of hoster and make sure not to have anything else running when I am doing my shows. I use the media player to play dj music. I also use the vga connecton with a converter. Recently when I click on the media player the screen for the media player moves to the extended monitor and not on my laptop screen and of course I can't control it. To get it back to the latop I have to unplug the vga connector and plug it back in then it's back on the laptop screen. I have changed all the cables and a brand new converter still the same thing. So the last couple shows I have left the media player up. Any ideas?

Re: Media player problem
When you say the media player, are you referring to Hoster's own Background audio player, Windows Media player or some other player ?
Which version of Hoster are you running ?

Re: Media player problem
If you have windows 7, while your connected to the extended screen via your vga to video converter, right click on the desktop and select screen resolution.
In the dialog where it shows the 2 screens side by side, click on no 1 screen, then look just below the 4 drop down boxes it should say "This is currently your main display" if it doesn't it will show a tick box with the words "Make this my main display" if this is what your seeing with the No1 screen selected then tick the box press apply and OK. If your not using windows 7 or 8 let us know which windows version you have. Other than that can't you right click on the header bar while it's on the other screen and drag it back.

Re: Media player problem
I'll give that a try. I am using windows 7. It's really weird because it doesn't do it on hoster. I thought maybe the vga connection itself might be going bad in the computer so I thought about using the HDMI connection.
