Need help ASAP!!!

I have windows 7, Hoster 508. & Dell Inspiron. This laptop is dedicated to only Hoster. I have not opened this computer for a couple of months. When I last opened it, it worked perfect. Now, when I open Hoster, it flashes on screen for less then a second, then the screen goes blank. I have about 4 hours to get this up and running. I would appreciate any help. The computer is still new.

Is it opening in full screen ?
Try double clicking in the middle of the blank screen see if it shrinks it back. Else connect it to an external monitor and see if you can see it then.

Roy,
Hoster is on the desktop, when I double click the desktop goes blank, then when I click in the middle of the screen, it opens and Hoster icon is on the desktop and at the bottom where it should be.

Roy,
When I run the arrow over the Hoster at the bottom, it showes a picture of hoster.

If you are referring to the taskbar, then single click on the taskbar Hoster icon and it should appear on the desktop.

One more thing..... Sorry, I'm in a hurry...people coming soon. When I click on Hoster at the bottom, something strange happens. From the middle bottom to the right, there's something opened, but it's really blurried.

Nothing happens, except when I click it, on the taskbar that fussy thing opens and when I click it again it dissappears.

First try this: let your curser arrow hover over the taskbar icon for a short while, do you see a miniature hoster screen appear above ? if so right click in that window and select either restore or maximise.

If that doesn't work It may be that your screen is off the viewable area try dragging the fuzzy bit up.

Roy,
I brought the laptop to my study to work on it. When I hover over Hoster, I see the Hoster image, but when I right click it, it has 3 choices...Hoster, Pin this program to taskbar and close window.

Are there any other programs on that laptop that you can run besides Hoster?

Do you have a restore point that is before the last time when you knew the program worked correctly?

I have belarc, advanced systemcare, allway sync and avg and all work fine. I tried restore, but there really isn,t any restore points.

That's if you right click on the taskbar icon, if you hover over it do you not see a miniature hoster screen ? if so right click in that miniature picture then you should see other choices.
If that's not working for you try changing your screen resolution, right click on desktop and select screen resolution and tempory change it and see if you can see a bit more of hoster.

The only other thing I can think of at the moment is to re-install as upgrade but when you get to the page where you enter your name, tick the box that appears in clear all saved settings. You will lose all your saved screen settings and maybe Instabuttons but your screens will be defaulted to the original.

When I hover , I do see the miniture Hoster screen. When I right click, my only choices are ...Hoster, Pin this program to taskbar and close window.

There is one other way might make it appear so you can drag it to another position, from the screen resolution page alter the screen orientation to portrait, if hoster appears in that view drag it to the center of the screen then return back to landscape view.

Roy,
I have it!!!! The resolution change fixed it. The resolution is max at 1600 x 900, but the screen is not fully opened and I don't see the other screen in Hoster in the upper right hand corner.

Now go to tools option and click reset displays. then set your screen resolution back to normal and position your screens.
