Please help

I'm not sure what I did, I can not get any songs to pull up. It says no songs match. I made things worse by rebuilding the data base. If I try to pull up the songs under the singers it says it could not open the the songs data base. I am still on 4.0 because I've never had any problems so I never upgraded. I have a dell studio laptop with windows 7 and all the songs are on the laptop not the hard drive. The folder is reading c:\MTU\KMAfiles\KMAfiles

Re: Please help

Where you say the folder is reading c:\MTU\KMAfiles\KMAfiles, are you sure the kma files aren't in the first kma folder: C:\MTU\KMAfiles folder and not in another folder inside that folder as your quoted path.
Can't remember exactly how this was done in version 4 but when you open the build data base dialog and look at the list of folders can you use the Add folder button to brows to the folder C:\MTU\KMA files first and see if that folder contains your kma files or does it just show another folder named kma files and only when you brows to that folder do you see your files ?
If you find the kma are in the fist level folder then add that folder to the folders list and remove the other one then rebuild the database.
You could check this first in windows explorer which folder contains the kma files.

Re: Please help

I can see I'm dangerous to myself. I hit the add tab and it pulled up the file and it appears it added the songs. Now do I hit the rebuild tab?
