SD Card
Anyone load an SD card into hoster yet? The only thing it says is that it self loads. It's in MP3+G. I want to put it on my G: drive. I take it from there I just import them 99 at a time to a disc#. Am I close?

Re: SD Card
If you are going to import them as kma files from the import Hard drive files dialog, they should import straight of the card.
If you decide to import them as kmh you will first have to copy all files the files to a folder on the hard drive first, then import them from there. Either way you will have to import them 99 maximum per disc ID.

Re: SD Card
Well I've read and re-read and can't figure this out. I must be missing something. I can't get it to put 1-99 on a book ID. For ex. if I start at 600, it adds one song there then starts with one on 601, 602 ect...I tried using the database and ended up importing them fine, however the Disc ID, Title and Artist were all in the Title text...So can you help guide me through this one?

Re: SD Card
Using the Build Database option by adding a folder is best with audio MP3 files as it gets the field order from the id headers embedded in the files.
It does not seperate the title and artist fields properly with MP3+G files, just gives you one long file name. So it is best to use the Import HD files dialog. This is much the same as when you import CD in that you have to define the field separators to make them list correct. Best to use the "Single" selection rather than the "Batch" option as this will fill the bottom window with the amount of files that will be imported to your selected BookID before pressing the import button. If you are saying it is only showing one song listed in the bottom window to be imported then it may be that your field separators are wrong.

Re: SD Card
Well my field separators are correct. I can import one file fine, and only one using the single button. I wonder if it's that all my Disc Id's are different. (Ex; CBC00003-0, CBC00005-0, CBC00006-0, CBC00007-0, and so on).

Re: SD Card
That would be why it is only importing one per BookID, only one DiskId can be used per BookId.

Re: SD Card
Wow, pure joy, I have to renumber 6000 files now. Guess I know what I'm doing this week...So If I renumber the first ninty-nine CBC600-01 to CBC600-99 that should do it right?.. Guess I'll test a 5 file batch...

Re: SD Card
Yep, thats the trick... However it's not 6000 files, it's 12000, two for each song...

Re: SD Card
Have you tried setting the field separators to ignore for the field and track columns, then when the list fills with the 99 tracks enter a disc ID manually for each 99 tracks.

Re: SD Card
If you don't care about the actual Disc Id that it allocates you can use the Batch button and it will import the whole 6000 with Disc Ids XYZ0xxx. alto incrementing them all in one go.
