Audio drop outs

I have had a HP Entertainment laptop with Vista and Hoster 4.? for a couple of years and other than an occasional shut down, it has worked great. I just got a new HP Envy w/beats, Windows 7 and Hoster 5.02.

I have audio drops outs, as many as 5 or 6 in any one song. I downloaded all the windows updates before downloading Hoster. I always keep the search window and singer name window open during shows, as I am always looking up songs during performances. I never have had any problems with the old computer when doing this.

Are there some settings that I'm either not turning off or any other suggestions???

Thanks, Mike

Did you do the required changes for Windows 7 and Hoster? Link is here:

Re: Audio drop outs

Thanks, I did go back and found I hadn't made all the Windows changes so I think I have the problem fixed. I will know Sunday when I try using the new computer again. Mike
