Hoster 5.0 Question ...

I have read some of the new things in Hoster 5.0 and I have a question on the statement below:

CHANGED "Stop" Button - This now instantly stops the playing song by ignoring the Fade Out.

Does this mean I cannot not set the fade anymore? I keep my fade at 5 seconds...

I do not like a "cold" instant stop! I hate the one on the instabuttons, but have no option there!

I don't understand this change. If you didn't want fade, all you had to do was set the fade to "0" ...

Re: Hoster 5.0 Question ...

I think it is a missprint, as I like you read this and it was the first thing I tried when starting this new version. It still fades when using the stop button.

Roy,

Thanks! I feel better already (lol)

As I previously stated, I love the fade... I wish I could do on the Instabuttons also...

Re: Hoster 5.0 Question ...

Yes that is a great feature. Please do not change it and as stated by "kod" just set it to 0.0 if you don't want fade. I have mine set as 3 seconds.

Almost correct Roy. It WAS a requested feature that the Stop button would instantly stop play. However, in our "Task Assignments" document, it was noted and dated that this "task" was done and I documented it in the manual and "what's new".

Turns out, as Roy pointed out, we didn't remove the fade from Stop, and I won't again consider it if someone asks for it.

Re: Hoster 5.0 Question ...

Admin,

Thanks for not removing the Fade controls. As previously stated, if you don't want Fade, set it to "0".

However, I (and others) would love to see this control also added to the Instabuttons (I hate cold stops). I made a new feature request on this feature one time, but can't remember why it wasn't considered...

Thanks for creating so many great Karaoke products...
