![]() The only problem I have when importing is that it will go through the process, and sometimes in the middle of the disk it's importing, I get a kma failure error. Any suggestions on how to keep this from happening? It didn't do this until I upgraded to the newest version. The exact error says "error in creating kma file"

Re: KMA error
This error is only going to happen with a couple cases. Either your CD drive is failing or the disk is really badly scratched or dirty.
To explain a little further about CD drives. The more a drive is used the laser used to read the disks will progressively get weaker. This is just the nature of the beast. At some point it will begin to weaken to the point that Hoster cannot read the file. CDG files seem to be much more critical in the read than regular files on a disk.

Re: KMA error
I installed an early version of Hoster, and the files are importing just fine. I don't have the code to install all of the updates so I am operating on a pre 2010 program. So until MTU redoes my codes, so I can download again, I'm stuck.

![]() Ok this is what I've discovered, Again I am running windows 7, 500gb hard drive 7850 rpm, When I upload the disk to my c drive, mtu/kma file, it loads fine, but when I try to upload to my external song list, it won't complete... it comes up with the kma error. Any suggestions? And no, my external drive is not full.

Re: KMA error
Have you got a spare connecting lead for the external hard drive to try ?
Try copying a file from the C/drive and see if you can paste it OK onto the external. Also try, click computer then right click on external drive, select Properties/Tools then check now.
