Importing VCD's
Hi to everyone,
I would like some help with importing VCD's please. I am running hoster 4.21 version, i love hoster. But cannot seem to get the vcd's to import correctly all the time, sometimes i will get all the disc information tracks, artists, etc & it imports the tracks from the harddrive with no problem from the folder, then i will be doing another disc & when i import that disc, all the tracks in my folder come up & only two or three tracks from the disc i have just copied in, i copy the vcd tracks into a dat folder.I hope i have given enough information for you to understand my question. Thank You regards SVENDSEN ![]() |

Re: Importing VCD's
If you don't uncheck the box above the window for "Hide Imported Tracks" then those that have imported won't show.

Re: Importing VCD's
To check if they have imported click the search tab, un-highlight the audio & karaoke tabs so only video is highlighted orange, type a * character into the search for box, press search and it should list all your video files only. If you don't see them then you must be doing something wrong.

Re: Importing VCD's
Unchecking the box should show all files in the folder, imported and not imported. What exactly are you wanting to see? All or just the ones that need importing?
Check the folder with Windows Explorer. There should be a KMH file along with the originals for all files that imported. Those that are not imported will not have this additional file.

Re: Importing VCD's
Hi Dale,
I am only wanting to see the tracks that need importing so that i can select them to go into the import panel with the track name and artists name, same way as the cdg's get imported on the import panel. I have imported a lot of karaoke vidio tracks and the artists, but now having trouble getting the tracks to show up for the one disc i just copied and pasted into my vidio folder.i get all the tracks showing, checking or unchecking hide imported tracks does nothing all tracks still show. Hope this makes sense to you as i am not good at explaining myself. Thank You regards svendsen |

Re: Importing VCD's
When you select Import hard drive files then the video tab, it opens the folder that you chose to store your DAT files in, it will show all the files in this folder. You do not select individual files from this folder view, you just press the select tab for all the files in that folder example 1 in my attachment. After pressing select you should be taken to the import screen, in this view if the box "Hide imported tracks" is ticked it will only show the files from the previous window that have not been imported yet. If this box is unticked it will still list all the files that were in your DAT folder. So to only see the files that have not yet been imported you must have that box ticked.
Once you have the files you want to import showing in the top box as in my attachment 2, highlight one then set the field separators correct, then you should be able to press the Add files tab which will populate the bottom window. Then select all the files you want imported then press the import button. Once they are imported if you navigate to the folder with Widows explorer you should see an additional file to each that is the same name but has a .kmh extension. Roy |

Quote:
![]() ![]() If they DO show up, then you just haven't "imported" them yet, or maybe you added these same files twice (into the same folder) & that's why they are still showing ![]() |
