Help, No Audio!!!

Yesterday, 5-28, I had a new song I was trying and it worked just fine. I then shut the computer off, wrapped it up to take to my gig. Arrived at my gig and set everything up. When I started Hoster everything was fine until I tried to put a song up and it froze up. The song stayed on cue and wouldn't go to play. Needless to say, I didn't get to do my show. I did DJ and I had some people sing along with the songs. I brought it home and this morning I redownloaded Hoster and now the songs do play, but there is no audio. I check all the audio parameters to see if anything was muted, and they are all fine. I can play music on Windows Media Player, and all computer audio, system sounds such as the beeps and so on work fine. The no audio condition is limited only to Hoster and Microstudio. I played a song in Microstudio, and on the sound bar you can see the audio playing, but still no sound. Any ideas would be appreciated since I'm supposed to play tonight.

Re: Help, No Audio!!!

Hey Guys, I finally got it working just a few minutes after posting. Somehow, one of my high definition audio devices, (speakers), was taken out of being default. Still don't know how, and also wondering why everything else worked, but it's fixed now. Thanx

Re: Help, No Audio!!!

If it happens again check Tools/Audio Controls/ at the bottom there are 2 boxes Playlist Audio card & Search audio card. If you plug in any other audio cards when you start Hoster they can get swapped.

Roy.

Hey Roy, Thanx for the reply. I think that's what may have happened.
