HELP KHPro

I have been using Home Pro for a couple of days. I have the newest version and I have windows xp. I have already used the home pro and it has been great until today. I down loaded a song and took out the vocals and then went to home pro and began to add the lyrics. Both in Vogone and the Home producer the music stopped about 7 seconds before the actual end of the song.

I then added lyrics to a song that was a full one minute longer than the song I had previously tried and it worked perfectly. The song in question downloaded fine because I can play it on the windows media and real player completely without it ending early.

Can anyone tell me why this particular song is giving me a hard time in home pro and vogone at the end especially when other songs off of this same cd has already worked for me?

When you say you downloaded this song, do you mean from the internet or from the CD? If you downloaded it from the Internet, it is probably in either .mp3 or .wma formats. These formats even when converted back to a .wav file, don't correctly work in KHP or Vogone.

Let me know what you find.

Also, if it is a WAV format,did you save it to cdg file and play it in Microstudio ? I have had KHP clip the end of song off, but the file itself is in tact and plays fine in Microstudio and the resulting CDG. Just another thought.

I have also found very short songs under 50 seconds don't work properly in KHP.

The song was downloaded from a CD onto my hard drive through Microstudio. The song plays fine in my Widows Media Player and in Real Player. But the end is clipped in Microstudio, Vogone and Home Pro. It is also a .wav file like all the other songs I have downloaded using Microstudio.

The first time I noticed it was in Microstudio after I had converted it from a wav to a cdg file. I started completely from scratch and went through the whole process again and it is still getting clipped at the end for some reason. The song is 3 minutes and 39 seconds long. When I used vogone it took out the vocals but it clipped the end. Homepro and Microstudio did the same thing.

Crazy you're having difficulty with just the one song. Just for kicks, have you tried doing a "duplicate Disc" of that cd and seeing if the problem exists still on that one song, out of a whole cd???
Really would be crazy then.
