LKV-2000 Converter Problem?
I am running a Dell Inspiron 1545 with Vista with 4MB RAM along with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 display adapter. I'm using Hoster 4.11 and an LKV-2000 video converter.
When I hook everything up and connect to my second display (an older T.V.), all I get is vertical color bars and nothing else. The system shift is set to NTSC. Any ideas???

LKV-2000 system shift togle on mine is 1 down, 2 down, (position of switches), so I gather that is the same for your settings...
Troubleshoot whether your second display is powered on, and all your connections are tight, prior to firing up computer, and Hoster program... I assume your display settings match the capabilities of your second display ( older t.v. 600x800 ) and you are clicking to send desktop to second display... The LKV-2000 user manual is sparse when it comes to trouble shooting problems, but mostly involves checking connections, and exchanging cabling to see if a bad cable is causing your problem...

Rikki Tikki,
Everthing you listed I had in place. I am able to very the menu from the converter which tells me all the connections are tight and correct. When you say clicking to send desktop to second display, what exactly do you mean?

i just again started doing shows, and for the first time last fri. and sat. i had to used a converter, for the plasma tv above me and monitor ,the LKV 2000 worked real fine,
