Backup Licence Install

O.K..... Just got a backup system. Now, how do I download the second licence to the new system?

if this is a new install you can just download it using your new reg.#, make sure to save it, not run, if it's an upgrade you have to have an older version to upgrade from, do not click on the remove, click on the upgrade..but make sure to do all the recommended changes and also do the custom updates, not so much on the recommended updates.

The thing is that this is not a new install (or I guess it would be concidered a new install since it's a new computer) or upgrade. I was under the impression that I had the ability to load two systems with the licence I have had all along. Am I going to have to purchase a new licence that allows me to load my backup system or am I covered? I am sooooo confused but I'm sure it's just me. Sometimes I'm not real smart!!!!

What version of Hoster are you using?
If you only have Hoster loaded on one computer then yes you can install from your existing license. That is provided you have the install file for the version you are using. If you are installing 4.09 then you can still download it again. Previous versions are not available for download.

how many versions of hoster do you have ? you can install hoster into 2 pc's/laptops,provided you bought the hoster quad and that you can install into 4 pc's , if you only bought the duo you can only install that into 2 comp. and if you wanted to move the other hoster into your new pc you have to removed it from the old pc first, then open up hoster on your new pc then go to download link and download hoster from there, using your new reg.# ,remember to SAVE it,instead of Run, if you're doing an upgrade you have to have an older version to upgrade from.

O.K..... I'm stupid again. What exactly are the steps I need to go through to get the second 4.09 loaded on my new machine and where do I find the install file and transfer it to the machine?

If you clicked Save instead of Run when you downloaded it then it is whereever you told it to put the file. Otherwise re-download in the Support section to the other computer.
