upgraded hoster

Hi people,
i am running windows xp, i was running hoster 4.03, i upgraded to hoster 4.09, and i lost all my kma files, ( i did not panic) i copied & paste all my kma files from my external drive into the MTU folder on my C: drive, when i went to rebuild the song database, it says succssefully created 0 (zero)entry "songs.mdb"databasein: C:\MTU\Hoster|Songs.mdb. i have checked that the kma files are in the MTU folder. Can someone please tell me what i should do to fix this problem. Thankyou robbo.

For Robbo and Bob:
Did you "Upgrade" or "Remove" and install when this happened?

If you did the "Remove" did you delete any folders after removing Hoster?

Were your KMA files in C:\MTU\KMA Files folder when they disappeared?

When you did the Rebuild was the correct folder listed in the white area of where the KMA files were located?

Do you have any other copies of the Songs.mdb file on your computer (hold overs from previous versions)? These could be in the Program Files folder for Hoster or in the Documents and Settings folder under All Users. If you find any other than the one in C:\MTU\Hoster delete them.

When you did the database Rebuild, did you "Rebuild" or "Add"?

Robbo, try closing Hoster, deleting Songs.mdb, Songs_Backup.mdb and Temp_Songs.mdb files from C:\MTU\Hoster, then re-open Hoster. This should make Hoster rebuild database from scratch.
If that doesn't work the do as Bob said and Re-install 4.09.

I don't know what caused the problem. All the folders seemed to be in the right place. I did not uninstall, I did the upgrade and did a rebuild. Have not had any problems since then. I have added songs since then with no problem.

I am trying to figure out how your songs disappeared. Was it that the KMA files were deleted somehow or just that the database was not recognizing them.

In my case the songs were all on my hd but the data base would not recognize them. I had just done some upgrades from microsoft and apparently it either deleted something or moved it but the reinstall(upgrade) fixed it.
