Status = 2
I have searched for previous on this but couldn't find an answer. I have 2 songs by the same title. One says that it "was not found on the hard drive." That is because I removed it from kma files on the hard drive because it had problems but it still shows up in a search. When I go to tools, edit database and bring it up, click on it and hit delete, it says "unable to delete, status =2." At the bottom of that page next to the delete button, it says, "songs in playilist cannot be deleted." I deleted it from a playlist earlier and restarted Hoster but same story. I have 4.06 and XP.
I would appreciate any help. ![]() |

Try rebuilding your database. Jim ![]()

Jim, that worked fine, thanks. Is that obviously posted somewhere and I missed it?
I haven't been here in a while, good to see you still here and helping everyone. Should I upgrade to 4.08 from 4.06 (w/XP)? S |

Quote:
The only way to fix it, as Jim pointed out is to rebuild. Or restore the file from the recycle bin (or wherever you may have put it.) and then use edit screen to remove properly. |

In other words Steve always use the Edit Songs to delete or modify any files in Hoster and you will not have any problems.
