How Can I Install Echo Indigo Driver?

I have a Ruggedized Laptop™ Computer With Video Hoster® Software and need advice on how to install driver needed to use Echo Indigo laptop card (inserted into CardBus slot.)

My computer does not recognize the newly purchased hardware and I am not unable to locate it once it has been inserted into my CD reader.

There should be an install or setup program file on the CD that came with the hardware.

I am familiar with steps needed to install software. In this case, I am unable to find the install program when I browse for it on my CD reader drive. Could it be that the configuration of my Ruggedized Laptop™ Computer With Video Hoster® Software prohibits the installation of any and all types of computer software?

1.go to control panel
2. printers and hardware
3. click on add hardware ( left corner )
when the dialog box appears click next
a dialog box appear click yes already connected click next
when the list of hardware appears, look for your hardware and click on it, then just follow the next steps.

does your comp. recognized your indigo, to look for your driver

1. open my comp.
2. right click on your hardware ( indigo )
click on properties
3. click on the hardware tab
4. click on properties again
5 left click on your hardware again
6.click on properites again
7. click on driver tab
8. when the dialog box appear click on install on specific location
9. when the dialog box appears again, click on " don't search"
10.a dialog box will appear with your hardware name on it
11. click on it and click next, this will automatically look for your driver

No, they do not set-up those computers to prevent the installation of any hardware or software.
What do the instructions that came with it say for installing it?
