i still have 3.317 on my back-up laptop (xp) i already upgraded my show laptop to 4.05 ( no problems so far ), now when 4.06 cames up i will upgrade my back-up, ( i don't upgrade both laptops at the same time )if just incase i have problems with 4.06 will i be able to re-install 3.317 ( i have the setup saved to a cd ),

Yes. Just be sure to uninstall 4.06. I don't think you will need to go back, since you haven't had any problems with 4.05 on your primary.
