Exclamation STILL TRYING!!Need ADMIN HELP PLEASE - hit 100 install limit;now reset

I'm still trying to see what if anything will make the latest version of Hoster (4.5) work on my laptop with XP Pro.
Problem is that my registration has been locked for 4.X I do have 3.321a installed but can not upgrade.I submitted a support ticket on Oct. 3 and it's status is still not viewed.I understand it was the weekend (Fri.) so I thought I might get a response in the beggining of the week. I even called and left a message.I have seen new responses from ADMIN on the forum and thought maybe this is where my question would best be found.

How many computers have you installed it on?
Did you change the registration number when you tried to upgrade to the new one listed with your order?
Did you use Upgrade or Remove to try to install it?

Did you actually pay for the upgrade from 3.321 to 4.5? It's not a free upgrade.
Just trying to cover all bases.

Hoster Reg Problem

Hey Guys,

Lonman, understand covering the bases simply put yes every time an upgrade was offered at a discounted price I have paid for it.

Dale, I have been flip flopping back and forth between 4.03 (wich works on my machine with XP Pro) and 4.04-4.05 wich can not draw the lyrics fast enough on said machine.

As I understand it as long as I remove the program a message or code of some sort is sent to mtu and I can then install on another computer or back on my Show machine.(Not both, either or).As previously mentioned I have been flip flopping between the versions to see if different variables would make a difference to the performance.
All the flip flopping was on the same laptop everytime. I recently uninstalled on laptop and installed on my desktop to see if it was just my hardware or what.
Then while working on my laptop I did a system restore before removing the program.I figure that the signal that I removed the program was not sent since I did not remove the program but did a system restore. When I tried to install 4.05 I got a message saying that my reg code had been locked with the possibilities as to why listed.
I then removed 4.05 from my Desktop wich I hoped would send a signal to MTU that it had been so I could get back to work on the laptop.
No luck. I'm guessing once you screw up and get reg code locked it needs to be released or reset by MTU otherwise they couldn't protect their product.
Only other thing I could imagine which would and also wouldn't be a surprise to me is that with all the flip flopping since 4.0 I reached 99 or 100 installs??

Just really wish support had read my ticket as I understand that's proper procedure in this situation.

P.S. I know it's long winded but I am truly trying to give as much info as I can.

Chuck, you're right. You joined the "Century Club" and hit 100 installs. Very rare...

I cleared it.

In MTUSUPPORT's defense, we've had him on some diagnostic work for MTU, and Support Tickets got backed up.

I'm working on a new web form that will submit a "higher priority" ticket to him for Registration related problems. Right now, they're all bundled in his IN BIN.

Talking Thanks So Much!!!

Thanks to Lonman Dale and Admin for adressing my issue. 100 WOW!! I guess I've been trying harder than I thought.

I did a complete system recovery this time and hope to see results.
