Delete the songs.mdb file and songs_backup.mdb file and then open Hoster. It should rebuild the database file. The error message is telling you that the file is corrupted. Probably because of the lock-up.

Won't let me rebuild database!!

I try deliting both MDBs files and when I try to rebuid, no matter where I click in hoster the same error mensage keeps popping.
I addition to this problem I notice that if I connect my external monitor when the error window pops my lirycs screen locks in the external monitor, full screen as if it was ready to work but no tracks can be play. Hope this can help us further.

Did you delete them from C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases or from C:\MTU\Hoster? If you deleted from the first one that is the old location.
If you deleted them from the second then there is also a Temp_Songs.mdb and may be a Songs.LDB file. If those are there delete them as well.

If you are talking about the black on either side of the lyrics display, this should change in 4.03. MTU will no longer use Internet Explorer to drive the Show Display after 4.02, it's too inconsistant to use with Hoster.

When MYU goes back to the old player I feel the second display will go back as well. This means there will be one window for the lyrics (which should fill the whole lyrics window, no black on the sides), one for the Singer Name Display (with time I hope ) and one for the Marquee. We should be able to resize them as we see fit.

Good stuff coming!

Jim
