Lyrics Screen Missing in Action

If this has ever been reported, I missed it. On 1 of my laptops, the Lyrics screen has disappeared. This worked fine one day & the next, whammo. The 'blank desktop' is on the TV, but the lyric screen is not on the laptop or TV. (Hoster 3.316..I know I'm out of date, but have very few problems).

I re-installed Hoster & this didn't do anything. I can change the 'host window' to floating & stretch & drag it the the TV to get by, but am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem & overcame it. I am wondering if it may be a video driver problem, but, the system doesn't find a better driver.

Look in the Support FAQs and there is a procedure you have to follow to remove the registry entries for Hoster. Then when you open Hoster you will have to reset all the settings you had before as this resets everything to default.

Thanks for your help!

Dale,

Thank you....

This fixed my problem & I printed out the solution just in case it happens again. I spent way to much time trying to figure it out before I posted.

Wayne

Time to update Wayne. If you had been running 3.321 or 4.01 I could have told you there is a Tools command to recover the displays without having to lose all the rest of your settings.

I feel like a dope

I did not see this thread when I wrote mine.

I lost my display also. I have 4.01. I looked in Tools, as it says above, but don't see how to fix it

In your case look in Tools/Options. There is a button to Reset Displays.
