Hoster 4.0 Quad

I bought hoster 4.0 Quad, it only allow me to install to install into 2 pc. Did I get the right downloaded file? I submitted a ticket last 7/24/2008, still haven't got a response from MTU yet. Please... Help.

I talked to Admin as they were leaving the office Friday night and told him about this. They will have to get their web creator to look into what is causing this tomorrow (Monday). MTU does not work on the weekends and there is only one Support person who takes care of the tickets so it takes some time to get through them.

Thanks, Dale. No hurry, I just wan't to try this 4.0 to my vista computer which had 3.321 in it and it works great. I'm sure 3.4 will work the same. I just wan't to try 4.0/4.01 on this laptop and found out if any problem exist regarding video and audio synch. I'm aware it's not vista ready yet but it has 3.4 anyway and it works on vista, right?

Another question is, if I remove 3.321 in this computer while connected in internet, do I have to ask MTU to re-set my registration code in this? When I moved 3.321 on another computer which will be later on (much later). I haven't got an upgrade yet with this registration code (3.321).

My show computer still had 3.321 which was working great. Anyway, I could not use 4.0 yet due to mux button not working yet on video files. I used Vcd file 40% my show and 60% combination of kma and audio files. I just want to introduce the new marquee features and instant button of 4.0.

Another issues were, my show computer is not connected to internet and had different email address on registartion than mine. I build the computer for the business owner (a family friend) after he had another friend got the software for him and I believe a laptop from Mtu. So it will be complicated if I had to do the upgrade. I just made or did the work so he could used hoster in his place and now I'm running his karaoke show in his place with his regular show host(s)

I don't believe 3.321 is set up for the new registration method so yes you may have to get MTU to reset it. Depends on how much later you are talking about whether they will do this.

If it is an MTU laptop it has a network connection already built-in, so all you or the owner would have to do is take it somewhere there is an internet connection and install the upgrade. Even to load 3.321 it had to be done with internet connection so it has been done.

Tuesday nite, still doesn't receive any response from MTU regarding Quad ?

Man your week seems to be going a lot faster than mine considering it is only Monday. Either that or you guys in California or on a totally different time schedule than the rest of the US.

Since this was a new product, there was a script that had to be changed to allow installing the Hoster4n4 part number (QUAD) on 4 computers. We fixed it several days ago, so you are able to install on 4 of YOUR computers now.

This package if for users with 4 computers they need Hoster on, not for sharing.

A note to everyone thinking about the QUAD package, we can disable the Registration Code if we find it being installed on computers owned by others. Treat MTU with respect, and we will do our very best to keep you up and running your shows.

Thanks, I had 4.02 installed in my 3 computer now.
