Wink song data base progress

Every time I boot up the program my song data base build a list. It takes several minutes to build. Now is there way I cans skip this and only use it when I add new songs or CDs. Should I not only have to use it when adding new music. Shouldnt the database be saved when built the first time. Trying save time is there a way to build the data base like music match or winamp to make it faster to search for the music? Let me know please like I said just trying to be faster...............................

We are going to need some more information to be able to help you. We need to know what version of Hoster and what operating system (XP or Vista). Are you using an external or an internal hard drive for the song files storage. This shouldn't be happening, but we need to know this info to determine the course of action needed.

Hoster should only rebuild database on start if the songs.mdb file is missing, moved to unknown location or deleted to fix a problem.

Some folks have had Hoster for several years and have never rebuilt the database so this is definately not normal.

Anyone taking bets that were talking Vista OS here?
