Hoster Problem?

Hi all,
I just downloaded the demo of the latest Hoster to check out before making the leap. Everything seemed to install fine and I tried importing the Backstage Eagles CD to my hardrive. No problems so far. But when I qued up a tune from the hardrive to play and then hit "play" the screen goes black & and full window, and I hear this sound that sounds like this repeating "Ka-click, Ka-click, Ka-click, Ka-click, etc." Like it hung up and is in some kinda loop. No music is ever heard and nothing on the screen (computer) but blackness. I have a Dell P4, 3Ghz, with 3gig of ram. and 3 Maxtor 300 gig, 7200 rpm drives installed with a Pioneer DVR-107D DVD/CD writer (current firmware and is CD+G capable. I have copied CD+G cd's with it as well and they run fine (video & audio)in my Karaoke machine).
I have to hit Control, Alt, Delete to close Hoster, to get out of the black screen.
I have tried other CD's Maestro etc. (all store bought originals) no better luck.
Any ideas?
