KHPcolors using Leader decoder

Have a component system that uses the Leader CGD decoder. Colors change, sometimes to the point that it reverses to blue border with black text block making it impossible to read text. I feel the problem is the decoder but can't understand why because I also have an all in one Karaoke player(Ventura), and it works just fine with it.Also, graphics will not appear on tv if I turn on the decoder and play a KHP generated cd FIRST. If I play another cdg first and then switch, then the KHP cd will send graphics to the screen, but with the before mentioned color problems. Am using a JVC 334BK CD Player with the Leader decoder. Anyone else encountered this problem?
