Question video fixes in 3.301??

Does anyone know if the list of fixes/enhancements in 3.301 really contains all of the changes that were made? I'm specifically wondering if the problem of not being able to use keyboard keys (Tab, Enter) while a video was playing was fixed or not. This was something I thought was on their list, but it wasn't specifically mentioned.

I know they would have liked to have fixed this but as it turns out that was a very difficult thing to change and as they wanted to get this version out quickly, that problem was not tackled.
Making the file types selected persistant was fixed, which I will find quite helpful.

What exactly does this mean, please?

And how will you find this helpful (As I may too in the same manner)?

When you try to add a Video file to the playlist, and the last video file had an extension of .vob. it will default to that untill you use a different file type. They did this because most users will use the same typ of file most of the time. IE: I use .avi files for all my video, I dont have to select a different type.

Oh, I see now. So did they take away that persistence? Do we now have to type in or choose a file type every time?

Making something persistent means that whatever setting you last used will persist(remain) until you change it.

In 3.3 the file types always defaulted to .dat but most of my video files are mpeg so I always had to use the drop down to select mpeg or all files. In 3.301 the file type shown defaults to the last selected file type so I keep it as "all files", now all my video files are displayed regardless of whether they are mpeg, dat, avi or whatever. Just a small time/hassle saver.
