other computer karaoke compatability issues

i have been using a pc to do karaoke for 3 years now and i wouldn't do karaoke any other way. My question to you people that use the hoster software is simply this. I have all of my music already encoded on my hard drive using CAV's. This prosess was not an overnight thing and it took me months to get it done and the books and so on and so on.

Can I use the music that has been encoded onto the hd now under CAVS and just switch the program over to hoster or do I start from scratch?

Any comments about this topic or anything that compares cavs to hoster will be appreciated.

Anyone that wants to know about cavs.... My opinion is that the code in the win 98 version is full of bugs... when the program is used in conjunction with a dj program to play bground music, it will blue screen and dump on you all the time.....If you have a big book or multi books in ms word....it will make the words skip...even with a 2300 mghz pc....in short....the program sux and i am willing to spend 300 to look at a program that "MIGHT" be better cavs sux so bad....But hey, that is just my opinion....try it 4 yourself....you might like it.......honesty about hoster is appreciated....if u get deleted say so and I will add an email.
