read/write error

I have a plexor 8/4/32 cdr that i puchased from you. It has been wonderful. I had some computer problems and decided to get a new one(computer that is). windows 98 se, duron 1.2 processor--I'm running 256 ram. I then puchased a disc from you with microstudio v2.315, vgonne v2.104, karaoke home produce v3.100 and keyright v1.202---
I haven't tried all the feature of these programs because when i play a karaoke disc it freezes up and i have to reboot---I CAN save the song to the hard drive and then it will play just fine ! That's wierd. I CANNOT burn a full disc. some times 1 or 2 songs are burnable , but i get the old read write error Error: "write" comand failed on device 0:0:0 read/write error or bad medium detected (04h 00h 02h 03h 0ch 09h)
write behind cache has been disabled.but it won't duplicate period.
I looked at all the setting i first got from you guys and set the computer up that way--virtual memory, sysini , config with those buffers ,stacks, etc. But then I was thinking, I got those settings back when I bought disc architect--maybe they are different ? could you tell me why i can't copy cdg's , how to fix it or maybe I need new istallation instructions on my burner--I'm stuck--thanks
