Unhappy Hoster 5.07

Program workin fine. I thought we were still able to use the older version it wanted. 5.07 renamed it to prior version but I can't use it. I try to open it and it tryes to but says hoster will now shut down.

Re: Hoster 5.07

What version were you using before you upgraded to 5.07?

Re: Hoster 5.07

If you really want to use the Hoster prior for versions 4.xxx or earlier you will have to change some file names.

To do this open your C\MTU\Hoster folder, find the singers.mdb and rename that to something like singers507.mdb. (just as a backup) then rename the SingersBackup5.03Prior.mdb To Singers.mdb.
Now for the songs.mdb, rename that songs507.mdb (Again just for backup purposes)then name the songs_backup.mdb to songs.mdb

Then see if your HosterPrior opens.

If not you can rename the files back to how they were but it worked on mine going back to 4.10.

The renaming the files to include 507 in the name is just so you can recognize them easy if you want to reverse the process again but I think that the next time you start 507 it will automatically update everything again for that version. I don't think this will work right if your returning to version 3.xxx though.
