Imported mp4 files not playing

So I figured out how to import my mp4 files, but now they are not playing. They show up in the song search, but then it says Videos do not appear in this window. Can someone help me with this?

Re: Imported mp4 files not playing

The preview windows does not display videos, that's why you see that notice. The main display or extended screen should display OK, if it is not displaying on that it's most likekely a codec issue.
Have you installed the k-lite codec pack as instructed in the Manuel ?
The links to the site are shown there.

Re: Imported mp4 files not playing

Videos (Mp4 In your case) will not show up in the KJ Preview screen... has been that way since video karaoke was introduced (supported by Hoster) ... if you extend the preview screen to a 2nd monitor (singers screen) or allow the checkbox ( Tools > Intermission > Appears With, Check the box "Always On", you should get a copy/mirrored singers screen on your desktop, that will show up, if you don't have a second monitor connected... once you extend to a 2nd monitor the video will play, and be visible, but the preview screen WILL say "Videos Do Not Appear In This Window." It has something to do with the sweep synchronization during playback...

Re: Imported mp4 files not playing

Thanks. This is the first time I used mp 4s, so this is all new to me. And no, I have not installed the k-lite codec pack. I will have to look for that. Thank you so much!
