Hoster and Microstudio Have NO Lyrics
I just upgraded from a Compaq laptop with XP to a Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop with Win 7 Pro 64 and both Hoster and Microstudio have audio but no lyrics on the screen.
The laptop is a ThinkPad W520, i7-2760QM 2.40GHz, 4GB ram and NVIDIA Quandro 1000M Graphics with 2GB DDR3 Memory. I had a problem installing Microstudio due to the C++ 205 Redistribution (64), but that was solved using the MTU file. After installation I tried to play some tracks from a CD+G disc which loaded but the track only had audio and not lyrics. When I tried to stop the program, the red stop button had no effect on the program. The screen also got dim. I finally got a message: Mircostudio Application Is Not Responding - followed by "A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows." Re: Hoster and Microstudio Have NO Lyrics
First off did you follow the recommended setup for windows 7 in this link:
http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/windows7-changes.htm I suspect it is to do with the nvidea driver, You can try updating to this one: Search for this Nvidea driver the Verde 285.79 Driver - Beta? This is one link: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Downl...a-233564.shtml Select the 64bt version.

Re: Hoster and Microstudio Have NO Lyrics
Roy,
Thanks, as usual you helped me solve the problem. My Hoster and Microstudio programs are working and I have lyrics. Now I'm going to search the forum to find out how to access "Word" as the viewer for the songbook in Win 7 Pro 64. Once again, THANKS! Wes |

Re: Hoster and Microstudio Have NO Lyrics
From the Songbook dialog select viewer then the Brows button and this is the Path to choose: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 then select "WINWORD.exe"
That's were it is on mine, if you can't find it just type WINWORD.exe in search box that is found after pressing start.
