downloaded 4.05

Just downloaded 4.05(had 3.21) and I have windows XP. Cannot get files loaded onto program. Can see the files in our external hard drive, however, cannot import cdg files from the external hard drive.Any help would be appreciated since I have to work tomorrow night! Thanks

Hey Terry,

We need a little more info here.

1. Does windows see your external hard drive?

2. Do you mean KMA files or CDG files? Since you have been a member of this forum since 2006, I'm thinking you mean KMA files when you say CDG files.

3. When you try to import your CDG files (if they are CDG files not KMA files), at what point in the "Impoort Hard Drive Files" proccess are you having a problem?


If you are saying you can not get your KMA files to load into Hoster, rebuild your database. Just tell Hoster what folder your KMA files are located in.

had the same problem last night,( since i never had the 4.xxx version) and like jim said you have to rebuild your song database in order for hoster to see your files..in my case i had to do a merge since i have 3 ext. drive's and my video files are on my int...but anyway just rebuild your song database..
