Hoster 4.0 Song count doubled during rebuild

I installed Hoster 4.0. At the end of the installation it did an automatic rebuild on the song database. I have 16750 songs, in the rebuild box it doubled it to 33500. This happened on both computers. I checked the songs file and everything seem normal.

What happened and how can I fix this?

Not sure what happened, but delete the files C:\MTU\Hoster\songs.mdb and songsbackup.mdb. The open Hoster and rebuild the database. Should fix it.

I deleted all the files as you said on the C: drive and in the windows program file. I even deleted the main file and the recycle bin. I reinstalled the songs off my backup hard drive the did a rebuild. It still showed the double songs, but during the rebuild it stopped half way, at the 16750, and showed "parameter" error. Everything still seems to work.
Any other ideas?

Check the folders you have listed in the rebuild. What is the total number of files in them? The only way Hoster can double the amounts is if there are that files in the folders listed for it to build from.
