Unhappy Dual Monitor Video Issue

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm happy with the HOSTER functionality, I've been working with the sofware since last year.

But this time I have a situation with the dual view.
for example, when you play a video, a white frame comes out with the image right?
However, if you play a kma file the frame doesnt show up... and it suppose to wotk like that, I know.
But since last saturday after play 2 videos, when I want to display a karaoke video the white frame is still there!!!!
Anyone can tell me how can I remove it?
Do I have to reinstall HOSTER, is it a bug?

Well I will appreciate your answers as soon as I can, our karaoke bar depends on that...

Thanks a lot from Central America....

VTS is usually the name of a folder containing vob files, of which some are the actual video and some are only organizational stuff the DVD needs to read.

I don't think vob files are supported but not sure. And if so, you would need a codec to translate these files, which are usually .avi with a layered audio file.

Dual Display Video Problem

Thanks Bryant for your response concerning the format technicalities but my problem is that the video files due play correctly
On my laptop and don't expand when you click on it to full screen or extend to 2nd monitor when all my karaoke files due play on extended monitor.
Help with this is appreciated. Thx Joe...

Question?

Would it be possible to be able to click on the left lyric screen above the Show Time monitor to expand it, just like the right lyric screen when running in extended monitor mode?

The reason I'm asking is that in some clubs the large monitors are facing the audience at a side wall or behind the stage not easily visible unless you’re willing to sing with your back facing the audience.
Yes you can go and have this screen float under Tools Menu but that's not practical because you can’t resize it quick enough to get to your play List or controls while doing a show.
This function would help us be more efficiant. Thx Joe....

Workaround, have a video distribution unit ( Radioshack-$49.99 1 in 4-out) Hook your computer Video out to distribution Video in and Hook a small TV Monitor ($70 Target store)to video1 and place the small tv infront of you and hook your club monitor to Video2 and you still have to extra video left for future additon. So it doesn't matter where's the club main TV was located.

From the Hoster manual:

Set Up The Singer's and Video Displays

1. While playing a KMA song (display only appears while playing), move your mouse to the computer monitor. If the Singer's Display is full screen without any border, double click it so it shrinks to be a resizeable window. If it is already a resizeable window go to the next step.

2. Move the mouse within the Singer's Display window and click and drag it to the right off of display #1 and onto display #2. Once there, you can click and drag it to position it on display #2.

3. Click and drag the Singer's Display window edges or corners to fill as much of the display as possible, or to have it smaller so the Singer's Name Display (SND) appears, for example, belowit. All this is being done while a song is playing as the window disappears when the song ends.

4. When on display #2, click and drag the window edges to fill the screen as much as you can.Note: Resizing it to 100% will fill the screen, but there will still be a slight border around it. The adjusted window size and position automatically save so it appears this way until you change it again.

5. The Video Display automatically appears the same size and position as the Singer's Display RESIZEABLE window. It cannot go "full screen".

6. Double click the Singer's Display screen in display #2 to make it go full screen and hide the border.

Your karaoke songs will play full screen and your video display will play on the resized window. If the border is annoying, use a desktop image that's dark around the sides.
